Florian Goralsky is a French director and editor born in Strasbourg in 1990. Until 2012, he worked in Strasbourg with Films de l'Europe for films for Arte and European institutions.
In 2012, in Paris, he attended the Free Conservatory of French Cinema. His skills lead him to develop projects combining art and new technologies. He participated in the creation of the Virtual Reality pole of the neostory agency (Axxess Group) as a technical and artistic advisor. In 2015, Florian founded bok o bok with choreographer Veronika Akopova. The structure will give birth to "Catharsis", award-winning video-dance at the Cinedans Festival in Amsterdam 2017, Inshadow Lisbon 2017, and Bestias Danzantes 2017.
In 2018, Florian and Veronika received a commission from the Russian contemporary dance organization ProDvigenie. Shot in Moscow at the end of a five-day workshop, the film “Rand ()” obtained, among other things, a special mention at the InOut Festival in Gdansk, a selection at the Festival Ciné-corps (National Theater of Brittany), and at the Ottawa Cinédanse Festival.
In 2019, Florian directed two short films, “The Bathers”, an experimental fable selected in particular at the Mykonos Biennale, and “Unstable Seasons”, a first fiction filmed in the Grand-Est region (Association Prize (Brochet d ' or) of the 2019 Lyon Young Film Festival, São Paulo ISFF Selection, Mecal Barcelona Selection, etc.). Florian is currently writing his next short film, “Banana Bomb”, with the support of the Grand-Est Region (tutoring obtained within the framework of the writing aid scheme) and “Strange dramas of everyday life”, a series in four episodes.
